What is Equality South West's Role?

From Equality South West

ESW will play the role of facilitator.  ESW staff will be on hand to advise, signpost and support your organisation should you need it, but will not (for example) write policies or procedures on your behalf.

ESW will assess the final portfolio of evidence and will take responsibility for adminstering the 'back office' functions involved with completing The Standard.  For example, raising invoices and organising meeting dates.

ESW will meet with your organisation following the completion of the self assessment exercise and will support you as you develop your Equality Action Plan.

In addition, ESW can deliver bespoke support (for example equality and diversity training or equality impact assessment guidance) charged at our day rate.  Please contact ESW for more information.

ESW staff will be available via email, telephone and when appropriate, face-to-face.
