Fair Play South West launch
The re-launch of the Gender network. January 2005
Fair Play South West (FPSW), re-launched the South West gender network in January 2005. Eighty delegates attended the event which was held in conjunction with the TUC Women’s Committee and supported by Equality South West (ESW). There was, and has been since, an enthusiastic response to the aims of the event.
The aim of the event ‘Women Making the Difference’, was not only to think about the position of women (at work, in government, in the community…) but to embark on developing a larger and more diverse gender network in the South West.
