SW REC Network Event 18th September 08

The South West Racial Equality Council Network held an event with the support of Equality South West on 18th September at Somerset College of Art and Technology.  The day held an interesting mix of speakers with Colin Port, Chief Constable of Avon & Somerset Constabularly talking about Racial Equality and Policing; Kevin Coleman from Kick it Out speaking about the work undertaken to kick racisim out of football; and Anne-Marie Vincent from the South West Dorset Multicultural Network talking about experiences of women from a BME background.

The day was also a chance to consult about the Networks Business plan.  If you would like to read the Business Plan make comments to director@bathnesrec.org.uk
