9th - 11th April - The Art of Listening - Radstock, Somerset

We often assume we are listening to other when in fact our attention is still turned inward to listen to our self rather that turned outward towards the other. Deep listening require a person to be still, to be open to the other, to suspend beliefs and assumptions, to allow one’s self to be changed by this unique and precious meeting. Listening at this level is rare in our society. It is a spiritual and moral practice and becomes transformative for the individual and society. Gill Wyatt will facilitate this process using personal exploration, meditation and group discussion. Experience exercises and dialogue will allow participants to learn and practice the skills of stillness, openness, suspension and empathy.
