SW Learning Providers Equality and Diversity Network

Introduction

The South West Learning Providers’ Equality and Diversity Network is facilitated by Equality South West.  It is for individuals who are interested in promoting equality and diversity awareness and practice through whatever role they occupy as part of the adult learning provider community.

If you are an adult learning provider active in the South West of England and you are not already a Network member we hope you will complete the Registration form, which will ensure you receive invitations to meetings, bulletins and examples of good practice as they become available.

Members only Website

The network has it's own members only website, which can be found here:  http://swlearningproviders.spruz.com/html-page.htm   As network members begin to share their experience and knowledge we hope this will grow into an important source of support for practitioners and others involved in promoting and embedding equality and diversity into the work of the adult learning sector.

Regional Event - Wednesday 28th April 2010

The network held a successful informative and interactive event which provided delegates an opportunity to hear first hand from an Ofsted Inspector, amoung many other facinating speakers. Videos from the event are provided on the members only website.   The event is took place at the Taunton Conference Centre, Somerset College on Wednesday 28th April 2010.
