NEW SW Learning Providers Equality and Diversity Network

LSC

Welcome to the South West Learning Providers’ Equality and Diversity Network web page, funded by the South West Learning and Skills Council (LSC).

The LSC exists to make England better skilled and more competitive and sees a strong commitment to equality and diversity as a way to achieve this vision.

This site is for individuals who are interested in promoting equality and diversity awareness and practice through whatever role they occupy as part of the adult learning provider community.

If you are an adult learning provider active in the South West of England and you are not already a Network member we hope you will complete the Registration form, which will ensure you receive invitations to meetings, bulletins and examples of good practice as they become available.

The ‘sign up’ document is for senior managers and leaders of learning provider organisations to express their commitment to the work of the network and corporate support for the aims of the Single Equality Scheme http://readingroom.lsc.gov.uk/lsc/National/nat-singleequalityscheme-30apr07.pdf

This is your web space and we do hope you will both contribute to, and use it. As network members begin to share their experience and knowledge we hope this will grow into an important source of support for practitioners and others involved in promoting and embedding equality and diversity into the work of the adult learning sector.
