Migrant Worker Availability in the East of England: An Economic Risk Assessment

In light of the dependence that its economy has on migrant workers, this report examines the economic impact of migration on the economy of the East of England region, outlines future migration flow scenarios and predicts the future impact on employers. Working in the UK: Polish Migrant Worker Routes into Employment in the North East and North West Construction and Food Processing Sectors

The report looks at the main routes into employment in the construction and food processing industries for Polish migrant workers in the two northernmost regions of England. It explores the relationship between Polish migrant workers and trade unions and reviews activity undertaken by trade unions to organise migrant workers.
